The Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) is the official proficiency certification for individuals learning the Japanese language. It is organized by the Japan Foundation and Japan Educational Exchanges and Services.
The examination assesses students’ language proficiency based on 2 components. First, is their knowledge of the Japanese vocabulary and grammar, and the second, is their ability to communicate the language to perform “everyday tasks”. It is the quintessential examination for assessing the ability of non-native Japanese speakers to communicate in aspects of their daily, academic and professional lives.
There are 5 levels of examinations – N1, N2, N3, N4 and N5, with N5 being the easiest level and N1 being the most difficult level.
Individuals interested in migrating, studying or working in Japan in the future should consider taking this examination.
Candidates interested in taking the examination, have the opportunity to enroll in our intensive Japanese language preparatory course that will help them in their studies for the examination. With the guidance of our native speaking Japanese teacher, students will hone their communication skills, and learn about the various exam strategies.
Preparatory courses are offered in accordance with the 5 levels of examinations. Upon completion of this preparatory course, students will have acquired sufficient knowledge to attain a pass in the corresponding level of JLPT.
Currently, we offer preparatory courses on part-time basis for group or individual, private sessions.
